In reply to Scott. Not at all, it's really so you don't get water into the electric components, it's just a precaution. I've mowed lots of wet grass with it.

Great info. One question… Ego says not to clean the grass from the deck with a hose. So, do I need to worry about wet grass?

In reply to diana jaroszewski. The 2021 EGO LM2156SP has a 10 amp battery for 75 minutes of run time. There are a few comparisons online going over the 2020 version LM2135SP with the 2021 version.

do any of the ego power mowers come with a 10 amp battery and is the cost extra

In reply to Tony Handy. Anytime you're going to cut on hills with a self propelled unit it will require more power, and that will impact battery run-time.
